Supporting Emergency Medical Care During the Ebola Response

Ebola outbreaks place enormous strain on communities and healthcare systems. Patients require specialised treatment, healthcare workers need protective equipment, and rapid public health responses are essential to contain the spread of disease.

This month, Curated by Nugwa is supporting the work of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), whose emergency medical teams respond to disease outbreaks and humanitarian crises across the world.

According to MSF, their teams are currently responding to ongoing humanitarian needs in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda, where Ebola preparedness and response efforts continue alongside other complex emergencies.
